Rose Mount

GV II

House, now flats. Late C18, altered C19 and C20. Red brick,
Flemish bond with flared headers, blue slate hipped roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays with 1:3:1 windows, the central bay projects
and is pedimented; added bay set back right. Central entrance
with stone steps to porch comprising Tuscan columns,
entablature, cornice and blocking course, pilasters flanking
glazed door. Tall ground-floor windows with 4-pane casements,
stone sills, rubbed brick arches. 6-pane sashes with margin
lights, stone sill band on brackets, rubbed brick arches to
1st floor. Moulded stone eaves cornice, tall banded stacks at
each end and flanking the central bay.
