Warehouse, now offices. c1860, altered C20. Ashlar, red brick.
4 storeys and basement, 6 bays. Segmental-arched basement
windows, some with iron grilles. Ground floor: arcade of
Moorish arches, doorway bay 4 with circular overlight, ornate
iron grille, carved spandrels, paired marble column shafts
with carved capitals; deeply recessed windows in similar
openings with single columns. Deep bracketed cornice at
1st-floor window sill level; round-arched windows with
dripmoulds and continuous sill mouldings to 1st and 2nd
floors, elaborate 3rd storey with 2-light round-arched
windows, attached columns, carved capitals and impost band,
moulded brick eaves cornice.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Very similar in design to No.19 Wellington Street (qv).
