Pair of tall 3 storey houses with attic and basement circa 1820-30 now as one
house. Red brick with grey headers. Stone sill course to 1st floor, moulded wood
frieze, cornice and later mansard attic. 5 windows to upper floors, recessed sashes,
glazing bars, flat stucco arches. Entrance in enclosed glazed porch with frieze
cornice and blocking course, flight of steps leading up to it. This block faces
the entrance to Trafalgar Square.

All the listed buildings on the East Side, from Nos 31 to 115 (odd), including
Gibson's Hotel, form a group.
