Gate pier. 1909-1910. Parker. and Unwin office, perhaps designed by H. C. Hollis and C. P. Wade, assistants responsible for the designs of Nos. 1 and 3, and 2 {q.v.) . Brick and tile. Square in plan, approximately two and a half metres in height. Each face finishes in facing gable with tile covering to cross roof capstone. Tile courses alternate with brick and tiles arranged in decorative patterns to each face. Remnants of low wall to which it is attached is not of special interest. Forms a group with Nos. 1 and 3, and No.2, and with the pier opposite.
