North Munstead

House. Early C16, rebuilt in c.1920 by Harold Falkner. Timber framed, clad in
galleted Bargate stone block to ground floor, rendered infill above to ends, tile
hung to centre. Plain tiled roofs. Half-H shape plan. Two storeys to ends, one
storey and attics to centre under three hipped roof leaded casement dormers.
Ridge stack to right of centre and further stacks to rear and sides. One three-
light leaded casement window on each floor of end wings, one two-light window with
shutters to either side of centre on ground floor. Tudor style door to centre in
shallow break, under "eyebrow" shaped course of tile hanging. Tile-on-edge
imposts and door set back. Left hand return front:- Three hipped through-eaves
dormers. End stacks. Central break with door and leaded casement fenestration.
