Probably a direction stone to Montacute House. C13. Ham stone, about 550 m
wide and 1200mm high, set into boundary wall; segmental arched head, traces
of ornamental border about 65mm wide; sole traces of incised lettering, but nothing legible. (Bentley, J.B and Murless, B.J Somerset Roads, Somerset Industrial Archaeological Society, 1985).
