Terrace of large houses. Late 1860s. C J Freake builder-developer. Five storeys plus
basement. Three windows wide each. Classical. Stuccoed. Channelling to ground
floor. Continuous balustraded parapet to first floor set forward over Doric porches.
Corinthian order to first floor. Balustraded balconies to second floor windows.
Cornice hoods to second and third floor windows, central window pedimented to 2nd
floor. Rich frieze and bracketted cornice. Late C20 additions to rear, of no
interest.
