2 Tombchests. 1753 and 1767. Tombchest of Thomas Avery who died in 1753 and wife
Sarah who died in 1752. Slate-stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid. Marginal
inscription in uppercase lettering commemorating Thomas Avery and inscription in
inner panel, in upper and lower case lettering with serifs commemorating Sarah Avery.
Tombchest of Robert Langford, Mariner, of North Petherwin, Devon but late of
Forrabury. Died in 1767. Slate-stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid.
Marginal inscription continued in inner panel.
