Pair of cottages. Early/mid C19. Squared, coursed limestone
rubble with freestone quoins, platband and raised surrounds to
windows; English-bond brick to the rear; continuous pantile
roof with stone coping to the gable ends; brick stacks to
gable ends and party wall. 2-unit plans with lean-to wings to
each side.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; each cottage 3-window range. 6/6-pane
sash windows, paired to the outer ranges, single windows flank
the party wall, blank above the central doors. The right
return has a 5/10-pane sash window to the ground floor, the
rebuilt left return has a similar C20 window. C19
6-over-6-pane sashes and C20 windows to the rear wall.
