Terrace of 6 weavers' cottages. Early C19. Limestone ashlar,
mostly painted; continuous slate roof; stone stacks, some with
brick shafts, to party walls; stone coping to the left gable
end. Double-depth plans.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range except No.4, which is
symmetrical 3-window range. Platbands. Originally 6/6-pane
sash windows, various C19 and C20 replacements in original
windows. No.4 has C19 windows, plate glass sashes to the 2nd
floor and a margin-paned sash over the C20 door, otherwise
6/6-pane sashes. A wide carriage entrance to the far left
leads to other cottages. No.12 to the right has a C20 shop
front.
