House, now 2 shops. C17, refronted mid/late C18, refenestrated
mid C19. Roughcast limestone rubble with limestone dressings,
brick party wall and ridge stacks and Welsh slate roof.
3 storeys; 4-window range. A central doorway with plate-glass
overlight and half-glazed door to through-passage, with a mid
C19 bayed shop front to the left with glazing bars, and a
plate-glass shop front to the right, under a full-width
bracketed canopy. 6/6-pane sashes above.
Rear of No.27 has C17 wing of timber frame with brick
noggingg, with timber lintels to sashes in flush frames; 1783
date scratched into window pane.
INTERIOR: details of No.27 include with a section of C17
scratch-moulded panelling forming cellar door and chamfered
ceiling beams.
