House, now two dwellings. c1790 with later extensions and
alterations: subdivided in late C20. Brick, stuccoed and
colourwashed, with slate hipped roof; rear wing of red brick.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with dormer attics. 3-bay east front.
Central 6-panelled door with glazed upper panels and 9-vaned
fanlight. Moulded doorcase has open pediment on scrolled
consoles and panelled reveals. One tripartite window right and
left in form of a 2-light centre casement flanked by narrow
2/2 horned sashes. Two similar tripartite windows to first
floor above with balustrade to the casement. Between them one
2/2 sash. Dentil eaves cornice. 3 flat-topped dormers with 2/2
sashes.
South front: 7 bays with full-height bow to east. All windows
are horned 6/6 sashes. Projecting west bay with a blind window
on first floor. Dentil eaves cornice and 3 flat-topped dormers
fitted with uPVC windows. Rear wing with sashes of various
dispositions.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
