Shop. No.170 is early C19, No.172 added in later C19;
amalgamated in late C20. No.170 has early C19 display window.
Plastered and colourwashed brick; pantile roofs with wall
stack to south.
EXTERIOR: No.170 has 2-storey front gable-end to street. Shop
front has recessed doorway to left of window and one 6/6
horned sash to first floor. No.172 has single-storey front
with partly glazed 6-panelled door to left of canted bay
window with margin glazed sashes.
INTERIOR: both elements opened into a single space in late
C20.
