Entrance lodge. 1856-60. By John Norton for WH Sitwell. Red
brick with stone dressings and slate roof. Brick ridge and end
stacks. Jacobean style with Dutch gables and stone mullion
windows.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Gable to right has canted bay, 2-light
window over with strapwork cresting. To left a 3-arch arcade
with rusticated columns and arches. Half-dormer above has
strapwork cresting and ogee gable.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
