2 houses, now offices. c1825 with mid C19 and C20 alterations.
Ashlar and brick with hipped slate roofs. Plinth, first floor
band, moulded eaves. Symmetrical pair, each with a slightly
projecting centre. 2 storeys; 10 window range of plain sashes.
2 painted stone Greek Doric porticoes, each flanked by 2 tall
wooden cross casements. C20 half-glazed doors with overlights.
INTERIOR: No.251, to right, has a cantilevered open well
wooden staircase with iron stick balusters.
