Mill and mill-cottage, now preparatory school, C18 and C19,
chequered brick cottage and red brick mill. Cottage has slate
roof, flush quoins on right corner and 2-storey double-fronted
elevation of cyma-moulded 2-light flush mullion windows with centre
door, now window, in flush moulded surround. Later brick gabled
porch. Windows have leaded lights. Mill building is 3-storey
with Bridgwater tiles adjoining cottage and 4-storey with half-
hipped plain tile roof at left end. Three-storey section has
scattered fenestration and door to right. Four-storey section has
one-window range of windows, some with cambered heads. Door to
ground floor left, loading door to first floor right, both with
cambered heads. C20 metal windows. End wall has one-window
range of cambered-head openings, fenestration blocked or altered.
Mill on site is recorded as a specialist dye-house in the C18, when
it was called Jordan's Mill.
