Early to mid C19. 4 storeys. Slate gabled roof. Bracket eaves cornice. Rendered
front. Sash windows with glazing bars in reveals. 6 windows to 2nd floor, 4
to 3rd floor. Iron window guards of scroll pattern to windows except to 3rd
window from left hand end on 2nd floor, to 1st and 2nd windows from left hand
end on 1st floor and to windows on ground floor. Entrances in 3rd and 4th bays
from left hand end; narrow panelled pilaster to inner edge of each doorway; 6-panelled
door with rectangular fanlight with diamond tracery over.

Nos 14 to 20 (consec), Cobb House flats, the Old Bonded Store flats and shops
and the Shell Shop form a group. The Customs House, Cobb Road, partly closes
the vista at the south-west end of Marine Parade.
