Museum, formerly store, built on the wharf of the Bude Canal begun 1819. Early
C19. Stone rubble with some brick dressings, slate roof hipped at ends. Single
storey rectangular building with louvre on ridge. 2 window front. Wide central
timber door. Small opening on front at left under timber lintel. Larger fixed
window on front at right under timber lintel has brick jambs. Window is 2-light
with glazing bars. Interior not inspected. Building has been used variously as
salt store, tannery and warehouse for lime. Helen Harris and Monica Ellis, The
