Former water-powered textile mill, now joinery works. Late
C18, with C19 and late C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone
with stone dressings, brick additions and slate roof with a
brick gable stack.
Plinth and quoins. Stone lintels to first-floor windows, flat
arches to most ground-floor windows. 2 storeys; 11-window
range of unequally hung 20-pane sashes, some of them partly
reglazed. Below, to left, a board door, flanked to left by two
4-light casements and to right by eight 20-pane sashes. To
right, a 6-pane casement and a board door.
Rear has to left a late C20 two-storey brick addition. To its
right, eight 20-pane sashes. Below, seven 20-pane sashes, some
of them altered, and to right, a blocked round wheel arch.
Above it, an altered glazing bar sash and a 4-pane casement.
Left gable has late C20 loft door and window above, and a
single storey lean-to addition. Right gable, to street, has an
altered loft door, now at ground level, flanked to right by a
2-light casement. Beyond, C20 addition with 3 windows.
