Schoolmaster's house, now house. 1843, altered c1980. Red brick with ashlar
dressings. Slate roof with renewed ashlar coped gables and moulded kneelers.
Single rebuilt gable stack. Chamfered ashlar plinth. Ashlar quoins. Single-storey
plus attic. 2 bays east front. Four-centred arched doorway with chamfered ashlar
surround, to the right a single 3-light mullion chamfered ashlar window. Above
a gabled dormer with a coped gable and moulded kneelers. Attached to the north-
east corner is a short wall with ashlar coping, and a four entred arched gateway
with chamfered ashlar surround; this wall links with the south-west corner of the
Old School.
