Town house with shop. Mid C19. Incised stucco on masonry over
plinth; rag slate roof with projecting eaves over a moulded
cornice, central roof dormer with slate-hung cheeks and pair
of 6-pane sashes; slatehanging to left-hand gable; brick end
stacks; cast-iron ogee gutter. Double-depth plan plus service
wing at rear left. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range.
Segmental arches with textured keys over original 12-pane
sashes and central 4-panel door with 2-pane overlight;
original 4-light shop front plus sidelight left of original
glazed doorway; end pilasters and moulded entablature with
fascia. INTERIOR of shop has original counters and shelves,
otherwise not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: high rubble wall
adjoining house to right side rear garden. Unusually complete
building with complete shop interior.
