Town house with shop and corner shop. c1870s. Rusticated stucco to ground floor right; moulded stucco strings, otherwise pebbledash on stucco; dry Delabole slate hipped roof with projecting eaves over a moulded and modillioned cornice; cast-iron ogee gutters. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range plus 1 window to splayed return on the left. Original horned sashes, segmental-arched 1st-floor openings framed by pilasters and entablature with paired consoles to moulded cornices; similar but wider 2-light window on the right; 2nd-floor windows with pilasters only. 2-light shop front on the left has 2-pane horned sashes with central fluted pilaster and perforated vents over, also to doorway to splayed corner with original glazed door with 'Rapson' engraved on the glass and overlight; moulded entablature with paired end consoles and nowy-headed crests; central round-arched doorway has original 6-panel door and plain fanlight; tripartite window on the right. Rear has stepped stair window with coloured leaded glass. INTERIOR has moulded ceiling cornices to right-hand room, hall and vestibule; open-well stair with turned balusters and original glazed tiles to corner shop. One of a good group of buildings of this period in Windsor Place, all treated in a robust classical style.
