Wall along west boundary of Bowes Museum (qv), from north end
of west wall of grounds of Catholic church to Crook Lane.
c1869. Stone rubble with low gabled coping. Wall approx 2.5m
high curves along Birch Road from the north end of the wall to
the church, returns eastwards at the junction with the Gateway
to Dunelm Court (qv) and continues behind Nos 26 & 28, then
returns north behind Dunelm Court, Dunelm Square and the
grounds of Barnard Castle Fire Station to Crook Road.
