House, now offices. c1797, with mid C19 and C20 alterations.
Brick with painted ashlar dressings and slate roof with a
gable stack. Plinth, ground floor and first-floor sill bands,
slab-coped parapet. Windows have brick flat arches. 3 storeys
plus basement and attics; 3-window range of plain sashes, and
above, three 9-pane sashes. Above again, a renewed
segment-headed dormer with a 2-light casement. Ground floor
has to right a wooden doorcase with Ionic 3/4 columns. Round
arched doorway with steps and fielded 6-panel door with
fanlight. To left, two 12-pane sashes, their lower lights
reglazed with single panes. Below them, 2 boarded-up openings
to the basement.
