The Homestead


Cottage. C17. Timber framed with colourwashed brick noggings.
Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, two bays and gable stack
half-bay containing lobby entry. Boarded door with tiled pent
roof. Timber casement windows. Framing 3 panels high with corner
braces. Thatch swept over dormer to chamber over hall bay. Roof
with trenched purlins, and half hipped. Added pantiled extension
to south beyond stack.
