Farmhouse now house. C17 origin with C18, C19 and C20 alterations and
additions. Coursed ironstone rubble and ashlar. Asbestos tile and slate
roofs. Stone-coped gables. Stone/brick ridge and end stacks. Complex plan. Mainly 3 storeys with attics. Gabled C17 three-storey entrance porch has
entrance with 4-centred arched head. Hood mould and label stop. Above the
doorway 2- and 3-light metal casement windows in wood frames. Chamfered
wood lintels. Top window has lead cames and crown glass. Windows to right
of entrance including 3-light wood and metal casements with chamfered wood lintels. Attic window has lead cames and crown glass. C19 addition to rear
has 12-pane sash windows and wood lintels.
Interior has an early C17 dog-leg stair and sa wood mullioned window once
in an outside wall.
