Dormitories and classrooms. 1897. Flint with red brick and stone dressings, lacing courses, diaper work, and large chamfered plinth. Old tile roof, slightly raised to left, half hipped to left with small tile hung gablet; 3 ridge stacks, in centre and off-centre to left and right, end stack to right, and stack in front of ridge to far left, all with oversailing tops. 13 gabled semi dormers, tile hung with 2-light leaded casements, except that third from left with parapet and 6-light mullioned and transomed window, that fifth from left with arched boarded door, and that to right with rose window containing 4 circular lights. Tile hung gabled eaves dormer to far right with 2-light leaded casement and 2 hipped louvred dormers flanking central ridge stack. Built on slope with 1½ storeys to front and 2 1/2 storeys to rear. Two 3-cusped arched light Gothic windows to right and 8 windows to left, those to far left at street level. 4-centered arched boarded door off-centre to left beneath third semi dormer from left. Large 8-light diamond leaded mullioned and transomed window in gable end to south-west. Right-hand block: 3 large gabled semi dormers, 2 to right have 4-cusped light windows with quatrefoils in plate tracery above each, that to left with 3-cusped light window and quatrefoil in gable end above. One storey and basement window. 2-light between first and second semi dormers from left. 5-light basement beneath left hand semi dormer.
