2 houses. Probably C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble, with slate hung probably
soft wood timber frame above. Slate roof with gable ends. Brick end stack on right.
Plan: 2 houses. No. 20 on left has a 2-room and central entrance single depth plan.
No 18 on right has a 2 room double depth plan with entrance on right.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 4 window front, slate hung above ground floor. No. 20
(The Gifford) on left has an almost symmetrical 3 window front with an early C19 16-
pane sash on left and C19 probably shop window on right, flanking the entrance. Two
C19 16-pane hornless sashes on the first floor flank a central blind window. To
right, No. 18 has a C20 window to left and entrance with 6-panel door to right. 16-
pane horned sash on first floor.
