School and school house. Probably early C19. Rendered and painted stone rubble.
Slate roof with gable ends with 2 storey wing to front left with gable end and single
storey wing to front right parallel to main range, with gable ends. Projecting stone
rubble lateral stack to rear left.
Plan: Original plan uncertain. The main range has an overall rectangular plan,
heated by a lateral stack to rear left. Entrance near centre with wing of 1-room
plan to front left and single storey wing of 1-room plan to front right.
Exterior: 2 storeys with 2-storey wing to front left and single storey range to
front right. C19 door near centre. Elevation to Ruthy's Lane has double gable end
with 2 probably C20 2-light casements. Elevation to Church Street has two 2-light
casements in blocked door openings and C20 window to far right.
Interior: Not inspected.
