Houses, now with shop and office. C18 to C17 core. Stucco
(probably early C19); Welsh slate roof; stacks to centre left,
front and right end, rendered with moulded stone hoods; brick
stacks to rear. 4-unit plan.
3-storeys and cellars; 6-window range: 6/6 sashes; 3/3 sashes
over; moulded wood eaves. Pair of matching entrances to left
centre, with part-glazed panelled doors with overlights,
recessed in panelled cases, with moulded flat hoods on
pilasters; to right, two 6/6 and one 8/8 sash; entrance to far
right: studded oak plank door with moulded strips, leading to
passage to rear and entrance to No.67, under moulded flat hood
on consoles. Passage has stone flags; exposed ceiling beam and
rounded pilaster with stops; splayed left-hand rear corner has
part-arch. To left, two 6/6 sashes and C19, probably reused
4-panel door, set in beaded case, with moulded flat hood on
consoles, leading to passage, with stuccoed walls (doorway to
left) and exposed ceiling beams. Right gable rendered.
Rear has probably C18 addition to Nos.63-67, with plain tiled
roof and C18 sashes to Nos.65 and 67, and further gabled
extension to No.63. Early C19 extension to No.61. "Ludlow
Foundry" cellar hatch to No.67.
INTERIOR: ground floor right of No.67 has chamfered ceiling
beams with C17 moulded plaster ceiling.
