C1855-40, a detached stucco villa with some Grecian details. Two storeys,
3 bays to symmetrical front, with slightly recessed coach house - service
wing. Plinth; first floor sill course. Low gable end slate roof with
moulded Gothic-eaves cornice. Ground floor windows have plain stucco frames
on projecting plinths with shallow block pediments on palmette stops.
Similar central first floor window, the outer windows in plain frames
containing sill zones. Unusual doorway with projecting pilaster strips
surmounted by large consoles supporting projecting sections of blocking course
above; revealed panelled door with large label Doric panel in place of fanlight.
The 2 storey service wing incorporates coach house to ground floor.
