Attached house and Post Office, c.1800 and mid C19. Rubble-stone and ashlar stone
walls. Slate roof with stone gable-copings. Brick stacks at left hand, party-wall
and right-hand gables. No 20: 2 storeys. 2 windows: ground floor with 2 canted
bays on stone bases. Sashes with glazing-bars. Heavy continuous wooden cornice,
bracketed out at right hand end. Front door at right hand end, wooden with
rectangular fanlight over. No 18, recently cut-back, 2 storeys with 2 windows. C19
shop-front with wooden mullions and transom and moulded stone cornices. C20 door at
centre with large glass panel.
