Circa 1850-55 pair of semi-detached 2 storey and attic Italianate villas.
Red brick with stucco dressings. Each has 2 bay front with entrance in outer
bay. Plinth; first floor sill band; dividing panel marking the party wall
rising up to the acanthus decorated Vitruvian scroll frieze below dentilled
modillion bracket eaves cornice. Gable end slate roof with corniced chimney
stacks, one round headed dormer to each house. First floor has single outer
sash window and coupled inner one, in pilaster frames with shell moulding
to tympana of archivolt arches with console keystones and projecting cornices
with pediment blocking course. Ground floor of each house has rectangular,
pilastered, tripartite bay window with panelled risers and entablature. Projecting
pilastered porch with triglyph entablature; round arched entrance with panelled
door and marginal glazed fanlight. Three storey rear wings.
