House, now in commercial use as shops and offices. c1750, with
C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with stone quoins and roof not
visible behind parapet. 3 storeys, 6-window range with 3 late
C19 shop fronts and central door in moulded stone architrave.
Upper windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched brick heads
and painted stone sills. Painted stone string courses. Moulded
eaves. Doorway to rear passage to right. INTERIOR retains
original staircase with turned balusters, and 2 panelled rooms
with bolection moulded fireplaces and round-arched
inter-connecting doors at first-floor level.
