Attached house. 1767. Roughcast with limestone dressings,
rendered end stacks and pantile roof. Single-depth plan. Mid
Georgian style. 2 storeys, basement and attic; 3-window range.
A symmetrical front has a cyma-moulded parapet coping and
coped gable. Central doorway has moulded consoles to a small
canopy, and a 6-panel door, the top panels glazed; 6/6-pane
horned sashes in flush frames, and 2 pitched-roof dormers. The
basment projects beneath a flagged area, with rubble front,
iron grille to light the left side and a C20 greenhouse to the
right. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: a central
flight of Pennant steps up to the front area, with
wrought-iron wreathed rails and fluted ashlar piers at the
top.
