Terraced houses. 1851-52. Developed by Edward Rowland and Thomas Evans. Yellow and brown brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Two storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement stuccoed with moulded storey band. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with pilasters, pediment on consoles, except that No 27 has lost its pediment, and overlight. All windows segmental-arched with moulded stucco architraves. Sill band to first floor and stucco pilaster strips at either end of the row. Cornice and blocking course. Stacks to party walls. Upper storeys much rebuilt. Cast-iron railings to area.
