Terraced houses. 1851-52. Developed by Edward Rowland and Thomas Evans. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. The houses lie along part of three sides of the irregular 'square'. Two storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement stuccoed with moulded storey band. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with pilasters, pediment on consoles and overlight; original panelled door to No 13. All windows segmental-arched with moulded stucco architraves, balconies to ground-floor windows on Nos 8-14 and 18; window guards to Nos 12-14 and 18. Sill band to first floor; 6/6 sashes to No 18. Cornice and blocking course. Stacks to party walls, some apparently missing. Carriage entrance to No 11. Cast-iron railings to area.
