Terraced houses. Early C19. Stuccoed brick, roof obscured by
parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each except
no 22 which has three windows, having an additional recessed
entrance bay. Ground floor decorated with banded rustication.
Steps up to round-arched entrance with Doric columns carrying
cornice, of which originals survive only on nos 36-8;
fanlight, some panelled doors. Ground-floor windows
round-arched with Doric columns set into the reveals. Sill
band to first floor. First and second floors have stucco
scored as ashlar, and giant order of Ionic pilasters between
each pair of windows supporting segmental-arched entablature.
First- and second-floor windows flat-arched with moulded
stucco architrave. 6/6 sashes to first floor of nos 30 and 34.
Frieze of palmette ornament, cornice and blocking course.
Cast-iron railings to area, possibly replacements.
