Terraced houses. 1798-1800. Yellow and brown brick set in Flemish bond, roofs obscured by parapet except mansard roof of no 18, of artificial slate. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Round-arched entrance to nos 15-17 with pilaster jambs to no 17, cornice, fanlight and panelled door of original design to no 17; no. 18 has a cambered arch to the entrance with simple doorcase, cornice and overlight. All windows to nos 15 and 16 flat-arched with gauged brick heads; no 17 has cambered-arched windows and one window to second floor; no 18 has cambered-arched windows to ground and first floors with gauged brick heads; second floor window is dormer in mansard. Parapet; stacks to party walls. Area railings with spearhead finials. (The squares of Islington. Part I. Finsbury and Clerkenwell: Islington: 1990-).
