Terraced houses. 1789-90. Developed by Thomas Rawstorne, brickmaker. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, roofs obscured by parapet. Three storeys, two-window range. No 54 has ground-floor shop front, probably of C19 date, with pilasters, fascia and cornice, and return into Rawstone Place; No. 61 cambered-arched entrance with plain doorcase and overlight; the rest have flat-arched entrance under a round arch with impost blocks, cornice and plastered tympana. All windows have cambered arches, two windows to ground floor; parapet. No 60 much rebuilt.
