Terraced houses. 1789-90. Developed by Thomas Rawstorne, brickmaker. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, roofs obscured by parapet. Three storeys, two windows each except No.15 which has four windows, incorporating former No.16. Flat-arched entrance under a round arch with impost blocks and plastered tympana; plain doorcase, Nos.15-20 having cornices. All windows have cambered arches except Nos.18-20 which have flat-arched lintels. Two windows to ground floor except Nos.3-6 and Nos.18-20 which have one window, that to No. 3 being tripartite. 6/6 sashes of original design to Nos. 11 (ground floor), 13 (ground floor) and 15. Parapet.
