Barn. Late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Weatherboarded
and corrugated-iron clad timber frame with coursed limestone and
sandstone rubble mix plinth and corrugated iron roof. 2 storeys.
South front: loft with 6 pitching openings and 7 ground floor door-
ways, some with boarded doors; pair of cart entrances to left.
Included as a large late example of its type, the later cladding not
seriously detracting from its intrinsic interest. Whitcott Evan
Farmhouse not included in this list.
