House, now shop, and attached railings and gate. c1820, with
mid C19 and late C20 alterations. Stucco, painted, with
rusticated basement and slate roof with a gable stack. 3
storeys plus basement; 2-window range of plain sashes, and
above, 2 smaller plain sashes. All these windows have moulded
surrounds. Ground floor has 2 similar windows and to right, a
mid C19 wooden doorcase with moulded pilasters and ornate
pedimented brackets to cornice. C20 half-glazed door and
overlight. Basement has a 3-light cross casement with
toplights. Outside, stone steps with mid C19 cast-iron
openwork balustrade and matching area railings and gate.
