2 houses, now art gallery, and attached steps and railings.
c1820, with mid C19 and late C20 alterations. Painted
rusticated stucco with slate roof, single coped gable and
gable stack. Basement string course, ground floor and
first-floor sill bands, wooden gutter. 3 storeys plus
basement; 2-window range of C20 casements with keystone
lintels. Above, 2 smaller plain sashes with rusticated lintels.
Ground floor has to left a wooden doorcase with Tuscan columns
and dentillated pediment with renewed 6-panel door and
fanlight. To right, late C20 single pane shop window. Basement
has a single pane C20 shop window with door to right. Outside,
stone steps with wrought-iron balustrades and wrought-iron
area railings and gate, with 3 obelisk-shaped stone piers.
