Terrace of 3 small houses, No.25 (left) at some time a shop.
Mid C19. Local rubble with granite dressings and shallow keyed
brick arches; except for stucco to 1st floor of No.25 over C20
render to ground floor in former shop front position; scantle
slate roofs, slurried to No.23; brick end stacks. Double-depth
plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. No.23 has original 16-pane
hornless sashes; No.25 has mid/late C19 four-pane hornless
sashes to 1st floor (or possibly original sashes with some
glazing bars removed), otherwise later horned sashes; 4
doorways with panelled doors (most partly glazed) with
overlights including original 6-panel door on right of No.25
with patterned overlight. Nos 23 & 25 were originally a
mirror-image pair but No.25 has extra doorway of former shop
with overlight inscribed "Trethowan"; No.21 has doorway on
right. INTERIORS not inspected. Included for group value.
