GV II

Single house. 1836-7. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof of slate. Two storeys over basement, three bays
wide. Basement partly stuccoed. Steps up to central entrance
flanked by stucco pilasters carrying entablature, panelled
door and original glazed overlight. Ground-floor windows
round-arched with gauged-brick heads and apparently original
glazing bars. First floor windows flat-arched with
gauged-brick heads and apparently original glazing bars.
Parapet, the north part gabled, suggesting the possible
refronting of an existing building; side stack. Included for
group value.
