Town house, now shop/dwelling. Late C16 or early C17, with
c1800 refronting. Colourwashed brick front to internal
timber-frame; slate roof with brick rear lateral stack. 2
storeys; 2-window range. Top cornice. Entrance has half-glazed
panelled door; entry to right end has plank door with grille
above; 2 canted bays with plate glass flank entrance, all
under corniced roof and bracketed horizontal iron bar. 1st
floor has windows with sills and 16-pane sashes. Good enriched
early C20 sign and wrought-iron bracket with shepherd, sheep
etc. INTERIOR: exposed beams and close-studded walls; corner
cupboard with reeded pilasters, frieze and cornice, and
fielded-panel door.
