18th century or early 19th century. 2 storeys. Red brick with roughcast
front. 2 wide windows at each floor, sash with glazing bars; cambered heads
at ground floor. Plinth. 2 entrances with cambered heads. Steep roof with
slates. Eaves soffit. Fairly massive central chimney.

Newmarket forms a most important central group including the buildings
around and in the "island.
