SO 61 NE MITCHELDEAN MERRIN STREET

House: possibly C16, altered and enlarged C19: pebble dash at
least partly over timber framing, slate roof. L-plan, gable
to road, 2-storey. Gable has 2-pane sash window to ground floor
cutting into coved jetty to first floor: 3-light wooden casement
window above with iron opening light, slight, plain bargeboards to
gable, right-hand eaves higher than left. On left return 2
projecting stone chimney stacks, tops rebuilt in brick. on right
4-pane sash and central door ground floor: this has reeded surround
to pair of French doors, with consoles to peaked hood. 4-pane
window above door. At back on right a return wing, with ashlar
plinth and one 4-pane sash per floor; gable chimney.
