Boundary walls with railing, 3 sets of gatepiers and gates. Probably 1894
as Police Station (qv Station Surgery). Squared stone brought to course,
ashlar, iron railings and gates. Low coped wall on north and south side
supports railings with plain spiked bars, some taller, and intermediate
standards with tops of flanking bars curved inwards. Gates in similar style
double-leaf, with spiralled hinge and lock bars. Gatepiers: chamfered ashlar
bases, ashlar cornices and ball finials; 2 pairs to north wall and 1 pair
to south wall. Taller ramped walls with flat coping link north and south
walls, the south end of west wall replaced.
